Who is afraid of Live Coding? - in which Uri Shaked shares some tips about doing live coding on stage, even if for a few minutes, despite being afraid. Why? Because, to quote Uri, 'Live coding can, if done right, spice up your talk. It can add excitement, that moment when you press the “Run” button and wait for something to happen.'
3 Simple Ways to Write a First “Ugly Draft” - this article is a great start for anyone looking to produce stronger and more consistent content. Or just more content. Uri also has a writing challenge this month, to write every single day and produce more content.
A 20 step plan to being viscerally horrified of public speaking and giving a talk anyway - in which Dave Josephsen outlines a 8 to 20 step process (depends on how lazy you are) about speaking in public despite being nervous about it. Sarah Drasner also had a really good twitter thread this week on the same topic, making a point about nerves being beneficial right before a talk and some tips on how to manage them.
